Started this in 2010 and its just continued to develop.

Here is the latest development, has been rebuilt with a much lower poly count and should be ready for animation. This file is 20000 × 5396px to show some of the detail.

The initial project started as a competition for a new red bull air racer back in 2010. Once the project had finished I evolved the design to a 1950′s/1960′s warbird style.

This aircraft is based on ideas from the Soviet/Russian, Tupolev TU-95 and the American Douglas A-1 Skyraider.

The aircraft below is a Navy version with folding wings allowing it to be stored aboard carriers. Computer upgrade pending I hope to animate this model and include it in Microsoft Flight Simulator X.
